CBC PURPOSE STATEMENT:  
"To participate in God’s redemptive plan by cultivating a Christ-centered faith community, where lives are being transformed through the truth of the Word."  

THE PURPOSE OF CBC:

• Exaltation – We acknowledge and delight in God’s character as described in the Bible (worship)
  
  
• Evangelism – We proclaim the gospel to the un-churched, irreligious, and unbelieving locally and globally (outreach)
  
  
• Establishing – We help believers become grounded in the faith and pursue spiritual maturity (discipleship).
  
  
• Equipping – We teach and train believers for service with a view toward producing the character of Christ in others (ministry).   
  
  
• Experiencing Community – We are a family of believers whose members genuinely love and care for one another (fellowship).  
  
  
• Engaging the Culture – We are a moral conscience in our community and world (influence).
