At Community Bible Church, we as a church are committed to upholding, strengthening, and equipping the family unit to be His primary platform for training and discipleship (Psalm 145:4). We believe each child to be a precious gift from God (Psalm 127:3), each created for a purpose (Ephesians 2:10), and each with immeasurable value and worth to bring honor and glory to our Lord (Isaiah 43:6-7)!
We provide a myriad of opportunities for families, for parents, and for children all for the purpose of strengthening their relationship with our Lord and each other. Specific to children on Sunday:
Nursery
~ Birth through 2 years old ~ We offer a safe and loving environment for your infant/toddler. Each Sunday, your little one will be learning a lesson from God’s Word, while you are worshiping and learning without distractions!
Children's Church
~ Ages 3 through 4th Grades ~ Children are welcome to continue worshiping with their parents, or they are welcome to explore, study and apply the truths of God’s Word with children their own age! Often, children will make fun crafts that compliments their time in God’s Word. Our children’s churches utilizes curriculum produced by Group Publishing and Children Desiring God.
Children's Equipping Class
~ Ages 3 through 6th Grades ~ During our Equipping hour of worship, age/graded children’s classes continue the make lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. It is our desire that each child know God intimately, love Him passionately, and serve Him selflessly. Each class utilizes "Discipleland" Discipleship Curriculum for Kids.
Children's Worship Choir
~ Selected Holidays ~ Involving our children in corporate worship is essential to our training and making disciples, our worship choir grants children the opportunity to sing praises to their Lord and express their love for Him.
Midweek Children's Ministries
~AWANA Kids Club (Wednesdays, September 14, 2011 through May 2, 2012, 6:15 pm - 8:00 pm) ~ Kindergarten through 6th Grades. “God's message for living is found in Scripture...read it, study it, memorize it, live it...nothing else matters in the end!”
AWANA is our mid-week ministry committed to reaching children and youth with the Gospel, and training them to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. AWANA blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, and tons of fun. Our AWANA ministry impacts children ages 3 to 6th grades, their families, and our entire community while helping our church instruct parents, train volunteers, and make our children's ministry all that God intends it to be!
