Transform Youth Group

Community Bible Church's Youth Group "Transform" is made up of 7th-12th graders.
Just as the apostle Paul said, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the the truth” (3 John 1:4), so we too echo that desire to see students growing in their understanding and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. It’s tough raising kids in this society we live in. They are being bombarded with more wickedness and worldly deceit than ever before, and it is our mission to see them
and their parents walking in the truths of God as taught in His word, the Bible. Our hope is to come along side of parents to supplement their discipleship and have a lot of fun, making lots of memories along the way!

Current Series
We are teaching the students through the Gospel of Mark. They are learning that Jesus cared little about His own life as He demonstrated a commitment to God’s purpose for His life - to die on behalf of undeserving sinners, and seeing glimpses of His teaching ministry and His ministry of mercy. Jesus came to us “not to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Our hope is to instill a heart of service and selflessness as they see their Savior model that for them. This is something that teenagers desperately need to hear, as well as adults.

Meeting Time & Schedule
6:15-8pm on Wednesdays upstairs in the Youth Room (office bldg).

Our typical evening schedule:
Game/Activity - 6:15-6:45
Worship - 6:45-7:00
Teaching - 7:00-7:45
Small groups/prayer - 7:45-8:00

We are welcoming new 7th Graders to our Kickback Retreat at the Oregon Coast (June 12-14) and then on Wednesday nights starting after the Retreat (June 15).

July 25-29 - VBS Service Week

Dates we will NOT be meeting:
June 1, 8 - prep for finals
July 20 - Rafting/BBQ event
July 27 - VBS service opportunity
