Jake joyfully joined the CBC family in August of 2009 as the Associate Pastor of Worship and Discipleship, having come from overseas missions with Slavic Gospel Association in Moscow, Russia. He received his degree in Church Music & Theology from The Master's College (SoCal) in 2001. Jake has served in a variety of ministry contexts but finds his greatest purpose in seeing others grow in Christ through, reading, instructing and singing God's all-sufficient Word (Col.3:16-17).

In January of 2008, Jake married his Russian sweetheart, Olya and they just had their first baby, Matthew Jacob in February of 2011, who they both delight greatly in.
